Yamanto Facility Sold at Auction

A cold store complex at Yamanto in the Ipswich-Brisbane western growth corridor has been sold at auction by Ray White Commercial.

The property at 5 Belar Street, Yamanto, was sold under the hammer for $561,000 to a local business operator by Dan Costello of Ray White Commercial (Qld) on behalf of a multinational dairy company.

Dan Costello said the marketing campaign for the property generated strong enquiry and the auction at Ray White’s corporate rooms in the Brisbane CBD attracted three registered bidders.

“There was spirited bidding for this asset on a 3,670 sqm allotment in a residential growth corridor and we were delighted that the property sold under the hammer,” he said.

Dan Costello said the property on a freehold title which included a 200 sqm cold storage facility plus an office and amenities offered flexible usage as well as the ability to add value (STCA).

“Yamanto is just 3km south of Ipswich and is in a major residential growth corridor being developed in the nearby Ripley Valley,” he said.

“In conjunction with the expansion of the nearby RAAF Base Amberley, Yamanto is experiencing an influx of businesses and population creating opportunity for small business operators to thrive.”
