Sid Arora joins RWC Queensland

By Nadia Salvetti

RWC Queensland has announced the appointment of experienced commercial property professional Sid Arora, who joins the Brisbane CBD headquartered agency business which is led by Tom Barr. Sid brings deep expertise in development site sales and a proven track record of delivering high-value outcomes across South East Queensland.

Mr Arora’s real estate journey began at the grassroots level, working as a project manager for a local builder focused on spec homes. There, he managed site acquisitions and quickly developed a passion for the broader property landscape.

“That passion led me to join the Ray White network four years ago, where I began in residential sales before transitioning into the RWC group and building a specialist career in commercial and development transactions,” Mr Arora said.

Since then, he has been involved in an impressive range of deals and has quickly become a trusted advisor for landowners who may be unaware of the untapped potential in their properties, particularly in key growth corridors like Logan, Moreton Bay, Thornlands, Caboolture, and regional Queensland.

“I’m passionate about helping people see opportunities they didn’t realise they had,” said Mr Arora. “There’s enormous demand across South East Queensland, but a real shortage of supply. That imbalance means it’s an ideal time for landowners to consider divesting or repositioning their assets, and I’m here to guide them through that process.”

Mr Arora’s experience spans a broad range of asset types, from childcare, medical, and service stations to medium-density residential, commercial, and industrial.

He said a focus currently is on townhouse development sites and childcare centres, both of which are highly sought after due to the state’s accelerating population growth and housing needs.

When asked why he chose RWC Queensland, Mr Arora pointed to the brand’s long-standing reputation and unique culture.

“Ray White stands for trust, loyalty, and transparency. The brand has real market goodwill, but what really struck me was the culture. At RWC, you’re treated like an individual, not just another agent. Your name and your results matter, and the business supports you to grow your own brand within the network.”

Looking ahead, he is focused on contributing meaningfully to RWC Queensland’s growth.

“My goal is simple; deliver exceptional outcomes for my clients, open up new opportunities for developers, and help bring more housing to the market. If I can play a role in just 1 per cent of Queensland’s future housing supply, I’ll be proud of the impact.”

Tom Barr, Managing Director of RWC Queensland, says the appointment adds significant strength to the business.

“Sid brings a fantastic mix of grassroots experience, technical knowledge, energy, and genuine passion for helping people,” said Mr Barr. “He has a rare ability to see the bigger picture while still delivering results at a personal level. We are thrilled to have Sid join the business and excited about what he will deliver for the business and more importantly for our clients.”
