WALLABIES legend Tim Horan’s son, Alex Horan, has joined Ray White Commercial QLD in the role of Sales and Leasing Executive.
Tim Horan played for the Queensland Reds in the Super 12 and represented Australia. He was one of the best centres in the world throughout the 1990s due to his attacking prowess, formidable defence, and playmaking ability.
Alex Horan followed in his father’s footsteps and was most recently playing as a centre for Super Rugby team the Sunwolves in Japan.
“I have always had a passion for the property industry and with a bad run of injuries through 2020, I had to change my focus,” Mr Horan said.
“Joining a team full of experience and expertise I can learn off and further my knowledge in the industry was something that really appealed to me.
“The industrial sector, in particular, has a lot of potential and I’m really looking forward to the opportunity to grow and to add something more to an already great team.
“My father has always been supportive in my rugby journey, and the same goes for my new career in the real estate industry, and I’m excited about the new challenge.”
Ray White Commercial QLD Managing Director and Partner Michael McCullagh welcomed Mr Horan to the family and said he would be an excellent addition to the team.
