Rockhampton Industrial Property Sold

Rockhampton Industrial Property Sold

A vacant warehouse with yard in a key industrial precinct in the Central Queensland centre of Rockhampton has been sold by Ray White Commercial (Qld) and Ray White Rockhampton.

The approximately 650 sqm building at 68 Hollingsworth Street, Rockhampton, was sold for $815,000 +GST to a local owner-occupier by Dan Costello of Ray White Commercial (Qld) and Andrew Leach of Ray White Commercial Rockhampton.

Dan Costello said the property was sold following an Expressions of Interest campaign on behalf of ASX-listed Sigma Pharmaceuticals Ltd, who were selling the building as it was surplus to requirements.

“Ray White Commercial had the pleasure of being appointed by Australia’s largest pharmacy distributor to market and sell the subject property,” he said.

“Sigma were referred from within the Ray White Commercial network initially to provide our marketing recommendations along with advice to position the asset for sale.

“Listing the property in conjunction with Ray White Commercial Rockhampton’s Andrew Leach, we received 12 enquiries during the marketing campaign from a mix of both investors and owner occupiers. This was due to the superior location and limited supply of similar stock within the North Rockhampton industrial precinct.”

Mr Leach said the building was on a land area of approximately 4,047 sqm and included a substantial yard.

“We marketed the property in national, state and regional print and online publications and also directly canvassed neighbouring property owners,” he said.

“This overall process ultimately lead to the success of the campaign.”
