Ray White brokers free warehouse lease for The Salvation Army

CHRISTMAS has come early as Ray White Commercial Queensland assisted The Salvation Army in securing a donated warehouse in Pinkenba.

The modern office/warehouse, that has a total area of 1,782sq m, will be used for The Salvation Army’s Christmas purposes over the December and January period.

The deal was jointly brokered by Ray White Commercial Queensland’s Director Sales and Leasing Paul Anderson and Sales and Leasing Executive Aaron Aleckson.

Mr Anderson said Ray White was based on family values and his team jumped at the chance to help such a critical Christmas cause.

“It’s always a genuine pleasure to help a great cause such as The Salvation Army with their increased workload over the Christmas period,” he said.

“It’s not every day you get the chance to make a difference to thousands of lives and we’re humbled that we were chosen to support such a vital operation.”

Mr Aleckson said it was a team effort and the office/warehouse owner also has to take credit for such kindness.

“Ray White Commercial is proud to be associated with such generous owners and it’s great we’ve been able to come together to benefit The Salvation Army,” he said.

“There was of course no fee for the leasing and we continue to market the site for lease with our co-agents Cushman and Wakefield.”

Salvation Army Community Fundraising Manager Queensland Melinda Burrows said the work that The Salvation Army does at Christmas is made possible because of the incredibly generous support they receive.

“The donation of this space for the Christmas period means that we’re able to sort and distribute gifts and groceries to thousands of families across the Brisbane region and beyond,” Ms Burrows said.

“This also gives us a base from which to distribute material goods across rural and regional Queensland.

“We’re grateful for the support from the property owners and Ray White Commercial, and we look forward to sharing the stories of hope from the lives impacted.”
