Coopers Plains Industrial Facility Sold at Auction for $1.21 Million

The appetite for industrial assets in Brisbane remains strong with a warehouse/office at Coopers Plains selling at auction for $1.21 million through Ray White Commercial Queensland.

The vacant property at 742 Boundary Road, Coopers Plains, was sold under the hammer at the Ray White Corporate auction in Brisbane to My Cousin Pty Ltd by Ray White Commercial Qld’s Paul Anderson and Andrew Doyle on behalf of a private owner.

Paul Anderson said Ray White Commercial Qld has sold three industrial assets at auction over the past month for a total of more than $9 million.

“These sales demonstrate the appetite for Brisbane industrial property and it underlines the vibrancy of our market,” he said.

“As well as the Coopers Plains asset, we sold a warehouse at Northgate for $1,775,000 prior to auction and an Eagle Farm property under the hammer for $6.1 million.”

The Coopers Plains warehouse/office offered a total floor area of 1,240 sqm, including commercial grade office space over two levels, and a land area of 2,079 sqm on a secure, gated site.

“We had approximately 18 enquiries during the marketing campaign, which is a credit to the property,” Andrew Doyle said.

“Interest was from all groups; investors, developers and owner occupiers.  It was knocked down to an owner occupier who intends to use the site for their importing/ exporting/ ecommerce business.”
