Beaudesert Development Site Sold for $5.5 Million

A substantial site with preliminary approval for residential development in the Scenic Rim regional hub of Beaudesert, south-west of Brisbane, has been sold by Ray White Special Projects Qld for $5.5 million.

The approximately 81.25ha site at Kerry Road, Beaudesert, was sold to developer Beaudesert Oasis Pty Ltd by Ray White Special Project Qld’s Mark Creevey and Tony Williams.

Mark Creevey said there was strong interest in the Beaudesert site, which is approximately one hour’s drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

“We had very keen interest from developers with a total of 58 enquiries and four offers received,” he said.

“Beaudesert Oasis Pty Ltd was the successful purchaser of this gently undulating development site with a variety of outlooks.”

Tony Williams said the property has preliminary approval for a material change of use and reconfiguration for lots for residential purposes.

“This site is within the urban footprint of the South East Queensland Regional Plan and the Emerging Communities in Beaudesert Planning Scheme,” he said.

“Beaudesert is the administration centre for the Scenic Rim Regional Council and is within one of the fastest growing areas in South East Queensland.”
