ONE of Brisbane’s most successful and well-known commercial agents has joined the Ray White Commercial QLD team as Director and Head of Investment Sales.
TomBarr, who has been in the commercial sales and leasing industry for over 15 years, said he was proud to be a part of Australia’s largest real estate group.
“I’m genuinely excited to be joining the Ray White family and I have visions of a long and successful future across Queensland,” Mr Barr said.
“Having known Dan White for many years, I was attracted to Ray White Commercial and the broader Ray White business due to its core values, culture, and the unique opportunity it offers people to partner and grow a successful business together.
“Our ambition is to build a lean and dynamic Middle Markets Investment Sales and Office Leasing team that’s well respected within the market and delivers consistent service and exceptional results for our clients.
“With a family-like culture and a real entrepreneurial spirit, there’s the opportunity to build a successful business within a great company and well-known brand in Ray White.
“I believe in leading by example in the market, and to attract good people with the drive and passion to grow and succeed, by working as a team.”
Ray White Group Managing Director Dan White said he was thrilled that Commercial Qld could attract such a high calibre agent to the team.
“I’ve personally known Tom for a long time and I know he’s an exceptional agent who has built a career out of hard work and exceptional product knowledge,” Mr White said.
“Tom’s well-known and highly respected in his field and I think he’s the perfect fit for the Ray White Commercial Qld team. It’s my pleasure to welcome him to the family.”
Ray White Commercial Qld Executive Directors Mark Creevey, Tony Williams and Matthew Fritzsche said they were delighted to welcome such a heavyweight to the team.
“Tom brings over 15 years of experience, an impressive track record of investment sales and office leasing transactions, and strong relationships with key domestic and offshore clients,” Mr Creevey said.
“In the short term, our aim will be to get Tom integrated into the Ray White network, systems and resources.”
“In the mid-term we aim to support Tom in establishing a team of sales and leasing professionals in his sector.” Mr Williams said.
“Longer term, the opportunity exists for Tom for equity and a leadership role across the entire Ray White Commercial Qld business.”
“Tom has proven expertise in a sector of the market that we’ve identified as an area of growth for the Ray White Commercial Qld business,” Mr Fritzsche said.
“He also brings a system of personal beliefs and attitudes that we felt were consistent with that of the current leadership team.”
