Rare South-West Brisbane Infill Development Site for Sale
A residential development infill site with preliminary approvals in place at Darra in Brisbane’s south-west is being offered for sale by Ray White Special Projects (Qld).
The approximately 7ha site at 242 Englefield Road, Darra, is being marketed via Expressions of Interest by Ray White Special Projects Qld Directors Mark Creevey and Tony Williams in conjunction with Adam Rubie and Brendan Hogan of Colliers International.
The land represents a surplus portion of the ConnectWest Business Park which is being developed for Charter Hall by national property development group Commercial & Industrial Property Pty Ltd (CIP)
Mark Creevey said a strong response from the market is expected for this rare site.
“This unique residential land site at Darra is coming onto the market at a time when developable land of this size is scarce within the Brisbane City Council LGA,” he said.
“The Englefield Rd property is an enviable location and has preliminary development approval for low-to-medium density residential use and potential for small lot subdivision, townhouses and aged care/retirement, subject to council approval.
“We expect keen interest from a wide range of development groups.”
Tony Williams said Darra is an emerging suburb approximately 16km south-west of the Brisbane CBD and close to Oxley and Darra railway stations, the Ipswich Motorway and Centenary Highway as well as major shopping centres.
“This site is close to a variety of shopping, educational, community, public transport and recreational facilities,” he said.
Adam Rubie said an attraction for prospective purchasers is that the site will be cleared, levelled, compacted and serviced prior to settlement.
Expressions of Interest close on Friday, June 30, 2017.
