Development land in sought-after Pinkenba smashes $900,000

PINKENBA has continued to be a sought-after location for investors north of Brisbane CBD in 2019, after a development land parcel sold for $916,200.00 + GST at 29 Harris Road.

The 2,036sq m* site, that came with IN2 Industry (General Industry B) zoning, was purchased by an undisclosed local private investor.

The asset was jointly marketed and sold by Ray White Commercial Queensland’s Director Sales and Leasing Paul Anderson and Sales and Leasing Executive Aaron Aleckson, on behalf of LMJ Rubin Pty Ltd.

“The Eagle Farm inventory is the lowest I’ve seen in 20 years and Pinkenba really is the next stop,” Mr Anderson said.

“This, combined with the cruise ship terminal, second runway to Brisbane Airport and the pending upgrade of the Pinkenba Hotel, means the precinct has a real buzz, and that makes it an easy sell to astute investors.

“The local Investor who secured the site has since appointed Ray White Commercial as their exclusive agent to secure a hardstand lease for the land,” Mr Aleckson said.

“We’ve already had a number of offers in that respect, and expect to have that side of the deal finalised in the coming weeks.”

The deal is the second in quick succession on Harris Road for Ray White Commercial Queensland, having recently sold number 49.

This success has led to the team being appointed as exclusive agents to sell 9 Harris Road.
