AREA OF EXPERTISE

Tom is very proud to lead RWC Queensland, part of the commercial arm of the Ray White Group, as the Managing Director. He is also a Co-Owner of the business in partnership with the White Family.

Tom’s area of expertise and core focus is the marketing and sale of Development Sites and Commercial Investments. He has over 20 years industry experience and has been personally involved in over $1.5 billion in completed sales transactions. Tom brings invaluable industry knowledge and an intimate understanding of the commercial real estate market. He has developed strong relationships with key private and institutional groups (developers, investors, lenders, consultants, advisors, industry stake holders, government officials) at a local, national, and international level. He is a highly motivated and determined person with strong financial acumen and attention to detail.

CAREER BACKGROUND

Tom began his commercial real estate career in 2003, after travelling the world competing at an elite level (and representing Australia) in the sport of triathlon. During this time Tom also completed a business degree, having received a university sports scholarship.

Prior to joining RWC Queensland in 2019, Tom held director level positions at JLL, Colliers, and Savills where he gained extensive transaction experience across the development site and commercial investment markets. During this time Tom regularly travelled interstate and overseas, particularly to Asia, for client meetings.

LORD MAYOR OF BRISBANE – BUSINESS MISSIONS

Over the years Tom has maintained a strong relationship with the elected officials of the Brisbane City Council in the positions of ‘Lord Mayor of Brisbane’ and ‘Civic Cabinet Chair for the City Planning, Suburban Renewal and Economic Development Committee’. He is honoured to have been invited on several occasions by the Lord Mayor of Brisbane, to join the business delegation on an overseas ‘Business Mission’ to represent Brisbane city:

• Lord Mayoral Business Mission to United Arab Emirates including Asia Pacific Cities Summit & Mayors’ Forum (2025).
• Lord Mayoral Business Mission to Taiwan, South Korea, Japan (2016).
